Children’s Faith Formation
St. Alphonsus Parish has a religious formation program for children through the third grade. Included in this program is preparation for receiving the sacraments of Penance and First Communion. It meets from October through April on Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m. For more information or to register your child please call the parish office. 504-522-6748.
Adult Faith Formation
Periodically throughout the year short adult religious formation sessions are offered. Please check with the parish office for current topic to be offered.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
The RCIA Process is for those adults who have either never been baptized and wish to join the Catholic faith or for those who were baptized into another Christian tradition and wish to be incorporated into the Catholic faith. Please call one of the priests at the parish office (504-522-6748) for how to become involved in this process. It ordinarily begins in September and continues through the Easter Vigil.
